FROM DES MOINES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

§ Exit the airport and take a RIGHT onto Fleur Drive.

§ Go under Highway 5 overpass and take the entrance ramp on the RIGHT onto Highway 5 EAST/NORTH. Highway 5 turns into 65 NORTH.

§ From 65 NORTH, take Interstate 80 WEST to Interstate 35 NORTH. Ames is approximately 25 miles NORTH.

§ Take Ames EXIT 111B onto Highway 30 WEST.

§ Take EXIT 146 NORTH onto Elwood Drive. Elwood Drive will take you past the football stadium onto ISU campus. Elwood drive turns into Pammel Drive.

§ Wilhelm Hall and Spedding Hall are on the LEFT opposite Morrill Road off Pammel Drive. Visitor parking is available in front of the flagpole in Lot 26, which is located between Wilhelm and Spedding. When using a Visitor spot, please take your license number to the Ames Laboratory Guard Desk in G43 TASF where a tag will be issued for you.
